On our way back to San Antonio International Airport, we cruised at 3,500 feet - smack dab in the middle of a broken layer of cumulous clouds. A good situation for me to earn actual instrument time. Shannon captured this video as we approached a large cumulous cloud. Watch as the shadow of the cloud falls on the airplane just before our entry.
Despite its size and appearance, the ride through the cloud was relatively smooth.
You'll catch a glimpse of me and Brad Marcum - my flight instructor - keeping an eye on those trusty instruments!
Video captured with Canon PowerShot G2 digital camera.
