Welcome to NoticeToAirmen.com, a web site about the fun and excitement of flying. This web site is the creation of Justin W. Moore, an instrument-rated private pilot and freelance writer/photographer.

A Notice To Airmen is defined as "a notice containing information concerning the establishment, condition, or change in any aeronautical facility, service, procedures, or hazard, the timely knowledge of which is essential to personnel concerned with flight operations." Pilots review notices to airmen before each flight to ensure they are aware of the latest information that affects their flight.

Justin is a native of San Antonio, Texas and spent his childhood years living less than a half mile from historic Stinson Municipal Airport. Years of growing up watching airplanes overhead and the inspiration of family members (pilots and non-pilots alike) prompted Justin to "earn his wings" in March 2002 with the successful completion of his Private Pilot training. Justin and his wife Shannon fly often and record their experiences through photos, videos and writing.

A primary objective of NoticeToAirmen.com is to educate the general public about the safety, utility and adventure associated with flying a general aviation airplane. This is accomplished through detailed trip reports, in-flight videos and thousands of photos that help visitors experience what it's like to soar among the clouds.

Flying has changed Justin's life in many positive ways. He has made it his personal mission to share flying with others and documents these experiences in his Rogue's Gallery. In addition, his writing and photography is frequently published in General Aviation News, a national aviation publication.
